Beamsplitter glass is an optical mirror that splits a light into two parts: half reflected, half passed through. A beamsplitter mirror has a low-iron glass substrate to minimize tinting, an anti-reflective backside to prevent a double image, and a reflective dielectric coating on the face of the glass.
